Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how Slack Meet Command collects, uses, and protects your information.
Privacy-First Approach
We believe in minimal data collection. We only collect what's absolutely necessary to provide the Service, and we never sell your data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Authentication Data
When you authenticate with Google:
- Google OAuth tokens - Stored securely to create meeting spaces on your behalf
- Slack user ID and team ID - To associate your Google credentials with your Slack identity
What we DON'T access: Your calendar, emails, contacts, or any other Google data beyond meeting space creation.
1.2 Usage Analytics (Optional)
If Google Analytics is enabled, we collect anonymous usage data:
- Page visits - When users view the homepage
- Authentication events - When OAuth is completed (no personal info)
- /meet command usage - Frequency and whether a title was provided (not the actual title)
- Anonymous user identifier - MD5 hash of user_id+team_id (irreversible, used for usage patterns)
- Geographic location - Country level only (IP is anonymized)
What we DON'T track: Your actual user IDs, names, emails, meeting titles, or any personally identifiable information (PII).
2. How We Use Your Information
- OAuth tokens - To create Google Meet links when you use the
/meet command
- Usage analytics - To understand how the Service is used and improve it (aggregate data only)
- Error logs - To diagnose and fix technical issues (minimal data, automatically deleted)
3. Data Storage and Security
- OAuth tokens are stored in an encrypted database
- All communication uses HTTPS encryption
- Tokens are automatically refreshed when needed
- We implement industry-standard security practices
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Google - To authenticate and create meeting spaces (required for Service functionality)
- Google Analytics - Anonymous usage statistics (if enabled, opt-in only)
- Legal requirements - If required by law or to protect our rights
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Revoke access - Disconnect your Google account at any time via Google account settings
- Data deletion - Request deletion of your stored OAuth tokens
- Access your data - Request information about what data we store about you
To exercise these rights, contact us at alessiosignorini.com.
6. Data Retention
- OAuth tokens are stored until you revoke access or stop using the Service
- Usage analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics policies (26 months by default)
- We do not store meeting titles, content, or participant information
7. Third-Party Services
This Service integrates with:
8. Children's Privacy
